D&D has been a staple tabletop game that has been labeled as a cult, fantasy, and now, in our day and age, a roleplay game for all to enjoy. There is a club at this very school dedicated towards this game, where the leaders are charging towards the future with an exchange of positions.
The current leaders are seniors this year and will be passing their leadership toward three individuals: Austin (new head of club), Luiz, and Irelynn. The original leaders, Carter Rotolo (head of club), Gabriel(), Nicole and Auburn (The Twin DMs), are all wanting the club to last long and into the future with the new generations to come.
Each of them have their own plans for college and carriers.

“I’m going to the University of Texas at Dallas. I would like to Major in computer engineering, where you create microchips and other important computer components,” said Carter Rotolo.
¨I’m going to go to The Heavenly Mandate college, in which the mandate of heaven is produced. I plan on Majoring in Controlling the wind, as my ancestor Zhuge Liang has taught me,¨ Gabriel said. Truly an amazing thing to major in, who wouldn’t give to control the wind?
¨My plans for college are actually out-of-state, since I´ll be going to Kansas State University for a degree in horticulture, as well as minor in french,¨ Nicole said. She and her twin have similar plans for their future, as they have planned on their similar interests in mind.
¨I plan on attending Kansas State University to get a degree in horticulture and a minor in French.¨ Auburn said.
With everyone having different plans on their future, they all have their own opinions on Austin being the new head.
¨I think that Austin being in charge will be a big change, and could bring new ideas to the campaigns and a new player base,” Nicole said.
¨I think that Austin in a leadership position will be interesting for the group, and I have confidence in his ability to bring in new players,” Auburn said.
¨I have faith in Austin. In order to be a good leader you have to be a good Dungeon Master (DM).¨ he said,¨As long as he keeps strong communication with the rest of the club I think he’ll do a great job.¨

Passing on this position, Carter’s experience is something to note down. ¨[D&D] was probably one of my favorite experiences in high school.¨ he said. ¨Leading the d&d club allowed me to not only share my stories to others, but to grow the club and organize the prestigious D&D awards.¨
Austin has aspiring plans for the club, when asked he simply said, ¨To make sure that once I’m gone it will carry on.¨
¨The new leadership has a daunting task ahead of them, saving the D&D club.¨ Carter stated, ¨This year, around 75% of our most experienced DMs and players are graduating. If the club is to survive to 2027 they must buckle down and promote the club like crazy. I feel that the new leadership has enough experience to overcome these challenges.¨
