Andrew Marsh Commits to University of Michigan

With his choice of five different Division 1 schools, top 8 wide receiver Andrew Marsh made the decision to commit to the University of Michigan on Tue, Aug 20 during a dramatic signing day event held in the Performing Arts Center.

“Without further ado, I will be taking my talents to University of Michigan,” Marsh said as he reached for the iconic blue and yellow hat, breaking the anticipatory silence that had fallen over audience.

Both Marsh and his family had been weighing this decision for months. Having over 30 Division 1 offers, he narrowed the possibilities to five different schools: University of Texas at Austin, University of Washington, University of South California, University of Colorado Boulder, and University of Michigan.

Prior to his commitment, Marsh’s coaches all took the time to appreciate his efforts with their program. His mother, Eleanor Marsh, gave him useful words of advice and thanked him for his hard work.

Marsh ended his extraordinary junior year with a career-high of 1158 yards and 15 touchdowns in a season. He looks to continue his excellent high school career this season, beginning with Jordan’s first game against Cypress Creek on Thurs, Aug 29.
